2017/18

ABOUT THE CAR 1

Vermilion Racing is an E-Formula Student Team founded in 2017 at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) consisting 30 volunteering members, primarily by a lecturer and students with a variety of engineering backgrounds (mechanical, electrical, management and design).

The team competes in the Formula Student Competition occurring in Silverstone, UK and is currently building the second version of the electrical formula car. It is an improvement from last year (2017/18) development, giving the car much higher performance and speed, in order to compete at the top.

It is the world's largest engineering student competition competing against other teams from universities around the world in design, construction and race. Our main goal is to have a fully functional electric racecar which will able to pass inspection and complete the different main events.
